Move Into Autumn: Pilates, Community & New Beginnings in Dundas, Ontario

There’s something about the change of seasons that makes us want to move. Move our bodies, Move into a new routine, Move into a new home, Move forward into a new chapter. For me, fall has always felt like a season of transition, a time to reset, get outside, reconnect with our community, and think about what we want the next season of life to look like. That’s the inspiration behind my upcoming event, Move Into Autumn: Pilates in the Park, happening at Dundas Driving Park on September 26th.

One of the simplest ways to welcome a new season is to get moving. Pilates is about more than a workout. It’s about slowing down, being intentional, and reconnecting with your body. And there’s something even better about doing that outdoors, surrounded by the beautiful fall scenery of Dundas. On September 26th, I’m inviting you to join me Rob Collier and the amazing Jade Hall who will be running the Pilates class in the park, whether Pilates is already part of your routine or you’re simply looking for a fun way to try something new. We will be proving this mats, and a small giveaway to each person. Afterwards, we will walk down to La Valle Gelateria to have coffee on us! Because sometimes, moving your body is exactly what you need to feel ready for whatever comes next.

As a realtor, I spend a lot of time thinking about another kind of moving: moving homes. A move can be exciting, but it can also represent so much more than changing an address. It can mean a new beginning, a growing family, a fresh start, a different lifestyle, or finally finding a place that feels like you. I love being part of those transitions. And living and working in a community like Dundas has reminded me that a home isn’t just the four walls you live in. It’s the park around the corner, the coffee shop you stop at on Saturday morning, the people you run into while walking through town, and the community that starts to feel like your own. That’s why creating opportunities to bring people together is so important to me.

Fall naturally invites us to slow down and take stock. The days get a little shorter. The air gets cooler. The leaves begin to change. We settle back into routines and start thinking about the months ahead. It’s a beautiful reminder that change doesn’t have to be something we resist. Sometimes, it’s something we move toward. Whether you’re moving your body, moving into a new home, or simply moving into a new season of life, there’s something exciting about embracing what’s next. And what better place to do that than Dundas?

On Saturday, September 26th at 11:00 AM, I’d love for you to join us at Dundas Driving Park for Move Into Autumn: Pilates in the Park.
